摘要: In this talk, we shall propose some new domain decomposition methods for multiscale second order elliptic partial differential equations with high contrast coefficients. They are based on a new discontinuous Galerkin formulation, we shall present both the nonoverlapping and overlapping versions of the method. It is shown that  the condition number bound of the preconditioned algebraic system in either case can be made independent of the contrast. Our numerical observations confirm the theoretical findings.

许学军：中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员,
国家杰出青年基金获得者，中国计算数学学会常务理事、秘书长。
1997年于复旦大学获理学博士学位，1997-1999在中国科学院计算数学所从事博士后研究，1999年起在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院工作。2001年获德国洪堡奖学基金，并于2002-2003年在德国进行合作研究，曾获得过中科院优秀博士后称号和中国数学会的钟家庆数学奖，以及中科院数学与系统科学研究院突出科研成果奖（2008）。在"SIAM J. Numer. Anal."、 "Numer. Math."等国际一流专业学术期刊上发表论文四十余篇。
